Generally the best way to get around Washington DC is the Metro. Metro prices vary with time and distance, but are $3-5 per trip.

Walking from Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro station (on Orange, Blue and Silver lines):

• To the One Washington Circle Hotel:
  1. Exit station at 23rd St;
  2. Turn left onto 23rd St., and walk 1 block to Washington Circle;
  3. Cross or walk around Washington Circle;
  4. One Washington Circle Hotel is on the opposite side of the circle.
• To the George Washington University Inn (GW Inn):
  1. Exit station at 23rd St;
  2. Take U-turn at exit to walk back on I Street (pedestrian path) towards 24th St.
  3. Continue on I street for 115 feet;
  4. Turn left onto New Hampshire Ave NW for 280 feet;
  5. The GW INN on your right.

From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Several options:

• MetroBus 5A to Metro Rosslyn Station; ($7)
  Take one of:
  • Metro Silver line (towards Largo Town Center) to Foggy Bottom/GWU (1 stop).
  • Metro Orange line (towards New Carrollton) to Foggy Bottom/GWU (1 stop).
• Washington Flyer Silver Line Express bus to Wiele-Reston East Metro station ($?)
  Metro Silver line to Foggy Bottom/GWU (11 stops).

Switch to one of:

• Orange line (towards Vienna) to Foggy Bottom/GWU (6 stops)
• Silver line (towards Wiehle-Reston East) to Foggy Bottom/GWU (6 stops)
