    The venue for CICM 2024 is Concordia University’s EV Building 2nd floor, room EV02.260, Montreal, Canada. It is situated in the heart of Montreal’s downtown directly on top of the Montreal Metro Green Line and easily accessible via the 747 airport bus. The full address is: 1515 Sainte-Catherine West, Montreal, QC, H3G 2W1 (see map below).

    ARRIVING BY AIR

    Upon arriving at the Montreal Trudeau International Airport, you can purchase a one-way single ride fare for 11 dollars, or a weekly fare for the STM. We would recommend purchasing a weekly fare if you plan to stay for the entire conference.



    The 747 takes approximately 25 minutes to reach downtown, and will leave every 10 minutes from Montreal airport (Gate 28). Disembark at Bishop / Rene Levesque.

    ARRIVING BY TRAIN

    For attendees taking the train, Concordia is just a metro stop away. Trains may be more convenient for those traveling from New York or Toronto.

    Take advantage of some of the unique transportation options for exploring Montreal and the surrounding environs.

    Montreal Transit System– Montreal’s subway system is clean, efficient, and affordable. Get a weekly or 10-trip pass to explore further afield.

    BIXI Bike Rental– Montreal has an affordable bikeshare program. If you plan to use it often, membership may be worthwhile.

    Pedestrian Streets– Go for a stroll along one of Montreal’s car-free streets filled with terraces, street art and shopping experiences.

    Olympic Park– Visit the biodome and climb to the top of one of Montreal’s tallest observation decks at the Olympic Stadium.

    Cosmodôme– Experience weightless and learn about Canada’s unique space program.

    Mount Royal Park– Climb to the top of Montreal’s highest point, experience breathtaking views of the city from the chalet.

    Jean Talon Market– One of the largest open-air markets in North America, with fresh produce from farmers around Quebec.
